What do you do, when the world around you begins to spin out of control like a carousel on steroids?

I jump off and submerge myself in my writing. Create worlds of mystery and magic, walk across the most beautiful Glens, climb the highest mountains and share a meal with my friends by the fire.

My imagination has always been my place of refuge whenever life had become dull and grey or too much to handle. 

In the beginning, I spun stories for my friends and later for my three children, yet I never thought that I would become a writer. I always remembered the words of my teacher who dismissed my essays with the words „ You have too much fantasy“. It might be so, but I let my readers be the judge of that.

So allow me to take you on a journey away from the mundane world of reality into the scenic landscapes of Scotland. Climb misty mountains and walk through glens and ancient forests in a time that is long gone or never was.
